Vintage Bay 504-17 West German pottery vase, Fat Lava era. 1960s/1970s retro ceramic pot, Germany. Ochre/mustard yellow + black stripes, 70s

A retro vase by Bay Keramik, West Germany, dating from the 1960s/1970s 'fat lava' era. This vintage pottery vase is a dark mustard yellow or ochre colour, with black horizontal stripes drawn over. The 504-17 decor is a series of indented geometric patterns in rings around the simple cylinder shape, with indented foot and neck - a typical West German shape. Mid Century Modern and retro in styling - great for your teak sideboard and to add to a collection. Perfect size for a small bunch of flowers and ideal for a mustard yellow decor. Inside is glossy brown/black.

17.5cm tall x 8.5cm wide max. Rim is 6.5cm wide. Stamped to the base. Very good condition. Please see photos showing decor and condition. (Some photos have come out too blue, the first two photos are more representative of the colouring).
