An super vintage plant pot holder by Aviemore Pottery, Scotland. Dating from the 'fat lava' and Studio Pottery 1960s/1970s era, this is handmade and decorated in smooth mid brown and off-white glazes. The off-white pattern appears to be formed with a wax-resist technique, with appealing unpredictable bubbles and lines and splodges. Both Studio Pottery and Retro in styling - perfect statement for your spider plants on your mid-century teak sideboard.

Stamped to the base, this is a good mid size - 13.5cm tall x 17cm wide at the widest point. It would fit a flower pot up to 12cm tall. For indoor use only.

Very good condition. Some discolouration internally out of sight, see photos. And a chip to the base, again out of sight (last two pics). No crazing or cracks and perfectly functional.... has the correct 'ring' to it.
