Vintage 1982 silver Modernist ingot pendant & chain. Retro jewellery, hallmarked bar. Mid century, stamped JJF. Sterling 925 Brutalist 1980s

A beautiful vintage 1982 Sterling silver reversible ingot pendant on a fine silver chain necklace. It can be worn with the hallmarks or with the cool textured side outwards. The lion's head and the lion hallmarks represent London sterling silver, while the script written 'H' is 1982. The maker is 'JJF' who is Jeffrey John Francis. Sterling silver 925 grade, the small ingot weighs 4g.

The sides and reverse of the pendant are the interesting bit - it has a fab retro Brutalist style texture. I think it looks stunning worn this way round - Modernist, Minimalist and Brutalist in style - a series of random scratched lines, catching the light. Please study photos, it's hard to explain! A reversible statement piece, perfect gift idea.

Small rectangular bar-shaped pendant is 29mm x 5mm x 2.5mm, just the right size to be worn everyday and elegant. The 925 stamped chain is very fine, 15.5" long, and a modern replacement.
