Vintage 1978 Sterling Silver 925 Modernist pendant & black leather necklace. Unisex 1970s retro round disc, hallmarked. Hand cut openwork

A statement unisex vintage 1970s disc pendant on an adjustable 24" black leather cord necklace. The round coin-like pendant is Sterling silver and is fully hallmarked on the reverse with the maker's name AGM or A&M, followed by the anchor and lion stamps for Birmingham 925 grade sterling silver, and 'D' for 1978.

It's handmade, and both Tribal, Modernist and Brutalist in style - the heavily textured circular disc has been hand cut with geometric open patterns. The chunky silver disc is slightly convex, with a lightly textured edge. Please study photos, it's hard to explain! Most likely unique and handmade by an artist at A&M in Birmingham.

Just the right size - Pendant is 30mm wide x 3mm deep. A slim but statement piece - perfect gift idea for him or her!

The silver pendant is removable from my leather replacement cord. The round leather cord is 1.5mm wide and could be tied any length up to 24" long.
