Vintage 1972 Alessi Trifolio tray, signed/stamped Franco Grignani. Inox 18/10 stainless steel, Made in Italy. Retro round/triangular drinks

An awesome Alessi vintage tray.
Round with an indented rounded triangular section. This is patterned with a cut geometric 'spyrograph' type design.

Inox stainless steel 18/10.
Signed on back with 'Alessi, Italia, Inox 18/10' and then Franco Grignani's signature.

Designed by Franco Grignani in 1972. So circa mid 70s.
37cm diameter. Shallow - no more than 1cm deep.

In very good condition, polishes up well but I kept getting finger prints on it!

Franco Grignani (1908-1999) was a pioneer of Italian industrial graphics and known as the designer of the pure wool mark - not dissimilar from the patterning on this tray!
