Vintage 1970s deep green pottery vase. Mid century glazed ceramic with spiral dimples. Forest/bottle green, retro pot/candle holder unsigned

An unidentified vintage vase, most likely 1970s (due to the typical retro 70s colouring)...

It's a beautifully shaped wide squat vase, with spiral dimple detail. The shape slightly tapers in towards the rim, with indented neck detail - similar to a Dansk candle holder. It's most likely British factory pottery, but is unsigned as you can see. I've not found anything like it online.

12cm tall x 12cm wide at the base. The rim is 10.5cm wide. Versatile: ideal as a pen or utensils pot, as a posy vase for larger bunches of shorter stems, or you could hold stand a pillar candle within (inner neck is 6.2cm wide max). It's a very deep olive green, like a Hornsea Lakeland Green.

Very good condition. Great on display - a very glossy glaze. A curious piece.
