A stunning art glass bowl by Vicke Lindstrand for Kosta, Sweden, from the 1950s or 1960s. It's a chunky thick oval dish, with deep red floating colour cased in clear glass. It's hand signed to the base 'LH1005' and acid etched with the Lindstrand Kosta logo. Not dissimilar to other simple mid century Murano and Scandi pieces from the 1950s/1960s.

17 x 12.5 x 6cm. Mouth blown/handmade with polished indented pontil and some tiny natural bubbles. Weighs a very chunky 1.4kg.

Good condition for age. A few age related marks here and there. Base shows wear, a sign of the age and era. No chips. I'd give it a 8/10, please see all photos. Nice displayable condition.
