Unusual Denby Flamstead pottery long fish dish. Fish shaped serving bowl: olives nibbles nuts. Vintage ceramic stoneware. 1970s retro round

A super and rare fish shaped long pottery dish, by Denby, England. Circa 1970s vintage...

I've not been able to find another one of these online; I believe it's from the Flamstead range. It's a 40cm long hand decorated dish or shallow bowl in shades of beige with subtle peach, duck egg and red abstract round scales, with earthy 'bubble' glaze outlines (fat lava style and typical of the 70s era). Perfectly suited to serving olives and nuts as well as displaying beautifully as a statement dish. An earthenware type heavy pottery.

A large and long 40cm x 8.2cm widest x 4cm high. Very good condition, see photos.
