A vintage set of four glass Tapio Wirkkala designed Ultima Thule alternative shape dessert bowls.
Designed in the 1960s. Made in Finland for Iittala, a high quality Scandinavian brand, in the 1970s-1980s.
They're the simpler tableware version of the design without the three footed base, to go with the plates and other bowls available.

The four bowls have hardly been used.
Each is around 11.3cm x 4.5cm tall, so ideal for puddings, desserts etc. And actually the perfect size and shape for a half grapefruit.
Round with rounded sides with 'icy' linear patterns and a textured/bobbled base. Smooth internally.

Excellent condition with no chips, sharp edges, scratches or marks that I can see.
Bright clear glass, most likely with a crystal content. Nice weighty (and petite) quality pieces.
Includes P&P to the UK.
