A pair of Mid-century stylised birds.
Hand carved from wood, unsure what type of wood.
Typical of those produced in teak, but they don't feel dense enough, so likely to be a softwood.
Both are varnished with a reddy brown teak tone and have a good shine.
Both are carved skillfully from one single piece (bases appear to be part of it).
The wood grain resembles a hardwood.

Circa 60's or 70's vintage.

Both have two tone inset wooden eyes.
Great displayable condition.
The tall one's beak has lost its end.

Tall one - 28cm.
Bending one - 16cm.

Perfect for a mid-century inspired interior, on a teak sideboard or shelf.
