A super Thomas (Rosenthal, West Germany) white porcelain 'op art' vase. The design was by Rosamonde Nairac and usually attributed to Tapio Wirkkala (Finland). It's circa 1970s vintage.
Model number 304-16, 304 is the model number/design. Simple rounded cylinder shape, bulging out slightly at the base (oval top, round base), with an op art retro design on both sides. The design is called 'Flower Festival' or 'Blutenfest'. It's bright white and glossy in and out. Mid-century Modernist and minimalist in style.
Medium sized: 16.5cm tall x 7.5cm widest x 7.5cm deepest near the base - the right size for daffodils, tulips etc if used as a vase. Stamped on the base with the Thomas logo, and indented with the model number 304-16.
Excellent condition.
