SylvaC rare polar bear #1372. Vintage 1930s/40s/50s green animal figurine. Pottery/ceramic, stamped to base. Satin pale green figure/statue.

A stunning and hard to find SylvaC pale green polar bear.
Vintage 1930s to 1950s era, I'm unsure of the exact age, but likely to be pre-wartime.
Typical SylvaC decor, he's in their pale satin green colourway (a slight sheen to the glaze).
He's the rare polar bear figure, #1372, and quite petite in size.
Hand finished/painted.
Stamped to the base with the model no - can make out "72" - and the round SylvaC maker's logo stamp - can make out "England" in black.

Excellent condition for age, no chips or grazes or cracks or hairlines. No visible crazing.
About as good as you will find! He's been so well looked after and loved.

There's a few tiny surface marks/bubbles/spots from time of manufacture - typical of the finish on their painted figurines.

8x13.5cm.

Free P&P to the UK.
He's a bit paler/lighter and less blue than he looks in the photos.
