A fabulous mid century vintage Danish silver ring, by Peter Wilhjelm Nielsen...

The statement ring features a polished freeform aventurine green stone, encircled by random silver blobs and balls, all within a large round silver concave disc. I would assume the silver coloured metal is a Scandinavian grade silver - 830-900 (rather than 925 sterling). The large statement disc sits on a wide adjustable flat plain band, which tapers towards the end. The band is 16mm widest. Internally it's hallmarked 'P.W.N. Denmark'. Typical 1960s Modernist and Brutalist Scandinavian design.

It's a UK size L to M, would fit an N too. Please check that it should fit you (only slightly adjustable outwards). It weighs a hefty 21 grams. The stone is roughly 15x17mm and the disc is 29mm diameter max. Untested for metal purity/metal composition - the unmarked freeform metal is typical of all Peter Wilhjelm Nielsen pieces.

Very good vintage condition. Looks stunning on - the photos don't do it justice. Very presentable, funky and retro, and a perfect gift idea...
