Scheurich West German Pottery 205-32 ceramic vase, cream & dark brown. 1960s/70s fat lava era, vintage retro Germany. 32cm tall satin smooth

A smooth glazed large pot/vase by Scheurich, West Germany. Dating from the 1960s/1970s 'fat lava' era and mid century and retro in style.

The glaze is deep brown, graduating down with a wide cream central band - it's a satin to matt glaze. Shape/model no 205-32 (32 denoting 32cm tall).

Very good condition for age and era with no chips, cracks or visible crazing. There's a wobble to the inner rim under the glaze - this would have been from manufacture. A couple of fine pencil-like marks that may come off.

32.5cm tall x 11cm widest near the base. Inner rim is 7cm wide. Tall and slim and stylish, weighs 1kg. Big enough to be a floor vase for a few statement stems. Looks great on display!
