A striking, stylish and statement large art glass bowl/ashtray from the 1960s by Rudolf Jurnikl for Rosice Glassworks, Sklo Union. Czech/Bohemian and dating from around 1962. Pattern no 1045 - a curving sculptural circular shape made from pressed glass. Mid-century modernist and retro in style. It's a really deep vivid Cobalt/Bristol/Royal blue - an unusual colouring!

Upper surfaces are in really good condition, there's a couple of very small surface marks. A couple of imperfections from time of manufacture. Base is good - there's a small slither/shell chip out of sight along the baseline, see last 2 photos. Otherwise, it is in really great condition for era with minimal signs of use. I'd give it a 8.5/10... Very displayable and impressive example.

Large and heavy - 17cm wide x 6cm high. Just over 1.1kg.
