Rosice Glassworks art glass Lens/Bullet vase. Rudolf Schrotter, Czech Bohemian vintage 1950s/1960s #914 small 6". Turquoise blue Sklo Union

A lovely Sklo Union rich turquoise-coloured glass vase designed by Rudolf Schrotter for Rosice Glassworks. Known as the Lens or Bullet vase, made from 1955 onwards, this is pattern number 914 and the smaller of two the sizes - 6" tall. Circa 1960s vintage, Czech/Bohemian origin.

A quality and tactile moulded pressed art glass item. Bold geometric optical vase with concentric ovals on four sides, tapering top and bottom to form a bullet shape. It's a rich vivid turquoise blue or cyan. Striking colouring - great for a Mid Century mantelpiece and for a collector.

15cm tall, weighs 666g - a good weighty chunk. Uppers are in great condition with not many signs of age. Clean with no water marks. As you can see it's had a small baseline impact/crunch - this is not visible on display and in use, and does not effect use. Priced accordingly.
