A lovely Rosice Glassworks #1175 ashtray or bowl, designed in 1962 by Rudolf Jurnikl. Vintage 1960s/1970s Czech/Bohemian glass.

The colour is a vivid cyan blue, or bright deep turquoise - a harder to find colourway. The photos make it look more blue. The shape is flower like with 4 flat flared lobes, forming an almost flat rim. Molded pressed glass, heavy and solid yet tactile.

Excellent condition (for 50 years old!). Two fine scratches internally, some natural bubbles. No chips or nibbles, very clean and virtually unused.

14.5cm diagonal or 13cm wide x 5.5cm. A chunky 820g.
