A striking art glass vase by Riihimäen Lasi Oy / Riihimaki, Finland. Designer unknown but very much like Tamara Aladin's pieces. Mouth blown in to a mould, it is the tall version of design no 1481. A late 1960s design and circa 1970s vintage (typical colouring of that era).

It is an olive or khaki green colour and is cased in clear glass at the base. It has a cylindrical lower part and neck, with an upper bulge or hoop. 25cm tall x 6.8cm wide cylinder and rim x 9.5cm wide bulge.

Very good condition with no noticeable flaws. No chips, nibbles, water marks etc. Base shows some signs of its age. Really good for 40-50 years old. A nice example and stunning for a display!
