Retro SylvaC Totem ceramic butter dish #3986. Green/brown lidded rectangular container. 1960s 1970s pottery. Vintage food serving, dining

A rectangular lidded butter dish by Sylvac (Shaw and Copestake, England) from the 1960s or 1970s, from the Totem range. The range came in four colours: aventurine, golden peat, peat green and trans blue - I believe this would be the 'Peat Green' colourway; it's a dark glossy khaki/yellowy brown colour. The range included other kitchen and dining items and has a retro Aztec vibe with swirls and spirals.

Rectangular pottery/ceramic with glossy glaze, stamped to base with model number 3986. Multi-use - perfect for serving butter, for use as a trinket bowl, or just for display.

15.5cm long x 8.5cm wide x apx 9cm tall to top of lid lift. In very good clean condition with just a few tiny signs of use.
