Retro orange square tile & blond wood cheese board. Vintage 1970s 1980s chopping board, breadboard or trivet. Hanging, snack serving

A retro blond wood breadboard/cheeseboard or nibbles serving tray. The square solid colour inset tile is super - pure orange with white outline. Traditionally shaped solid wood surround board with handle incorporating a hanging hole. Plastic 'twine' wrap to the handle. Probably dating from the 1970s, as this is very typical of that era.

Overall 18.5cm long x 15cm x 2cm with 11cm square ceramic glazed tile. I'm unsure of the wood type - maybe an oak or pine.

Very good condition with some minimal signs of age. Tile is very good with no knife marks, no crazing. Wood is very good, there's a few knife marks to the reverse. Wood has been re-oiled in food-safe Danish oil. No maker's marks.

An alternative retro-styled bread, cheese or snack serving board - perfect for display or use in an orange coloured 1970s kitchen.
