Retro Ian Logan Salome tin, JRM Design England. 1960s/1970s vintage round metal storage container. Blue & turquoise flower power mod, big 8"
A retro storage tin from the late 1960s or 1970s. The design is by Ian Logan and is 'Salome' - a JRM Design, Made in England (the design dates to about 1966 and was Middle East Inspired). A dark blue with a dusky blue, aqua/turquoise blue and a sky blue retro geometric floral pattern. So typical of the late 60s era!
A larger sized multi-purpose cylindrical metal tin: 21cm tall x 16.5cm wide. The rounded lid forms a good seal. The metal is a lightweight silvery tin or aluminium, with the outer print. Stamped to the base with the logo.
Very good condition considering the age.... These are prone to rust, scratches and dents and this example is pretty good with no rust. Some small marks/scratches and a cluster of fine marks to one side, shown. Certainly very displayable and useable - clean inside and airtight. Please see all photos.
A fab collectable design from about 50 years ago.
Price includes P&P to the UK.
