Rare Pyrex JAJ pink & white Snowflake space saver 2162. Deep oblong casserole dish 3.5pint. Vintage 1950s Gaiety. Pale baby pink retro glass

A super lidded Pyrex JAJ (James A Jobling) Snowflake design deep oblong casserole dish, or space saver. Design no 2162, the rectangular casserole is 3.5 pints. It's pale pink with white print, on white Pyrex glass. Snowflake was made 1958-67, with pink only produced for three years until 1960 - so circa late 1950s vintage. The pink snowflake space saver is hard to find.

Casserole dish, with matching lid on, is 29 x 17 x 9cm - the lower section is about 6.5cm tall. Stamped underneath handles with '2162' and '2A'. It has Pyrex Tableware writing and crown logo on the base. Original lid inverses for neat stacking/space saving. Lid is stamped with '23A' and 'Pyrex' and is 3cm tall.

Space saver is in very good condition with only a couple of tiny signs of age. Very good shiny print with just a few small flakes or dots missing. Clean with minimal marks. No dishwasher damage. One upper white corner is a little rough - an area of apx 6x2mm - shown. Lid is excellent. Please check all the photos. A really nice example - you'll be very happy with it and I'm just being picky.

Includes P&P to the UK.
