Rare Pyrex JAJ Gooseberry 442 turquoise mixing bowl. Vintage 1960s James Jobling opal glass. Retro 19cm 1.75 pint. Retro mid-century cooking

A stunning and hardly touched original Pyrex JAJ (James A Jobling) Gooseberry design round mixing bowl. The design dates design from 1959, made in England. It would have been part of a four piece set collectively known as no 2174 'Opal Mixing Bowl Set'. This is the 19cm diameter bowl (model no 442) with 1.75 pint capacity. It has a wider end and narrower end, for pouring. It is the version with the 'star flowers'. It's a vivid shiny blue/green with white print with no dishwasher damage.

The second smallest gooseberry bowl - 18.8cm wide, 23.5cm long max, 8.9cm tall. Stamped to the base with the crown logo and "Pyrex Tableware", dating it to around 1959-1960.

This is in great condition for 64 years old, almost as it left the factory. Internally it doesn't appear to have been used. A few flakes of missing turquoise around the wider handle, see pictures. Perfect for a collector and for display. The turquoise gooseberry graduated bowls are hard to find, will this piece complete your set?

Includes P&P to the UK.
