Designed by Robert Welch, Des. RCA., FSIA, for Old Hall (Sheffield, England). Part of the iconic Alveston range which started production in 1964, this looks to be a rare later production - roughly 1974-1982. It was available as part of a bar set or purchased separately (model number 43311). It's a 'jigger', ie. a double-ended drinks measure. One end is 25ml and the other 50ml - a single and double spirit measure.

Fab stylish design with a high quality sturdy feel. Satin finish 18/8 quality stainless steel. Stamped inside one end with the Old Hall logo and "Designed by R Welch, Old Hall England, 18/8 Stainless Steel".

9cm tall x 4.2cm widest - lovely gentle hourglass design with a wider end. Very good condition for age and era with no real any signs use. Last photo shows it featured with other Alveston tableware/flatware as part of their late 1970s range.
