A striking 1970s red plant pot hodler, from the Poole Pottery Delphis range. It's Shape 72 (smallish) and signed on the back with CB for Cynthia Bennett. Cynthia was active at Poole Pottery from 1971 to 1977, so of that mid 1970s era.

Freehand handpainted scoop shapes along the rim area - rich deep red, with slightly green and orange infills and black outlines in the Delphis abstract style. Painted over a white base. Logo, shape no. and signature are all to the base.

Excellent condition, useable and very displayable. Tested for watertightness - all good with no apparent crazing. Slight water line internally.

11.7cm x 8 x 8cm - quite petite and ideal for succulents (would suit a flower pot upto 8cm tall). All very retro with vivid colours, and typical of 1970s Poole Pottery!
