A vintage and very hard to find stylised 'ram' figurine, by Pavel Panek, for Rudolfova Hut, Sklo Union, Czechoslovakia.

Model number 13290/13.5, he is 'Beran'. He comes from a rare trio of animal figurines that were designed and produced for Christmas 1971. The other two figures were a goat and a fawn/deer (three to collect!). Icy textured clear pressed glass with a hollow base - very much in a mid century Scandinavian style.

Excellent condition for the age. 13.5cm tall x 13.5cm wide x 5cm deep. Being handmade pressed glass it has moulding lines, tiny bubbles, etc, with a tiny blob of extra glass at his baseline.
