A lovely example of the Orrefors Nimbus or Firefly candle holder. It's also known as the Artichoke, due to its shape.
These candle holders were designed by Berit Johansson and were produced from the early 1980s to 1995 and have a contemporary and Modernist feel.
Swedish/Scandinavian.

It is signed 'of' on the base. It's quality clear heavy crystal glass.
Textured petal-like outer with hole in the middle, designed to hold a tealight candle or a pillar candle.

9.5cm wide x 7cm tall. Weighs a hefty 810g, quite sizeable.

Excellent condition with no chips.
Base shows a few signs of age you'd expect for 1980s with a few small scratches.

Very appealing organic looking design, looks stunning on a tabletop and windowsill.
