Stylish Modernist complete 5-piece tea or coffee set designed by Robert Welch, Des. RCA., FSIA, for Old Hall (Sheffield, England). Part of the iconic Alveston range from 1964, these were in production from 1964 to 1984(ish). The Alveston range won a Design Centre Award in 1965, and is now much sought after. This 'Aladdin' set consists of the Alveston teapot, hot water or coffee pot, milk jug and sugar bowl, all served up on the Old Hall Robert Welch tray that was recommended for use with the Alveston set.

High quality vintage items in a satin 18/8 stainless steel. Made in England by Old Hall, all five pieces stamped with the Old Hall Robert Welch logos. Stunning 1960s design. If my Alveston sugar tongs are still available - I'll include them in this bundle too.

Excellent condition, all very clean with no dinks or staining - fully functional and perfect for display or a collector.

Teapot - 16cm diameter x 11cm tall (not a huge capacity). Teapot has some small signs of use.
Coffee pot or hot water pot - 10.5cm diameter x 12.5cm tall.
Milk jug - 8.5cm wide x 7cm tall. Looks to be unused.
Sugar bowl - 10cm wide x 5.5cm tall. Looks to be unused.
Tray - 43cm long x 25.5cm wide. Has signs of use. Stamped with a '16' to the reverse.

The teapot is 1 3/4 pints (1 litre).
Hot water jug 1 1/4 pint or 71cl.
Cream jug is 1/2 pint or 28cl.
Sugar Bowl is 8oz or 227g.

Care tips: These clean up beautifully in the dishwasher, just catch the drips and buff dry while they're steaming hot.
