A stylish Modernist set of stainless steel salad servers designed by Robert Welch, Des. RCA., FSIA, for Old Hall (Sheffield, England). Part of the iconic Alveston range from 1964, these were in production from 1964 to 1984. The Alveston range won a Design Centre Award in 1965, and is now much sought after. Model no 21980 I believe.

High quality designer items in a satin/slightly brushed 18/8 stainless steel. Made in England by Old Hall, both are stamped on the backs with 'Old Hall Stainless England'. Both spoon and fork are 27.8cm long. Long and elegant with a gently swooping/sweeping design. Good useable condition for age/era with a few signs of use/some light marks - as you'd expect for 35-55 years old.
