A 6" Oiva Toikka designed 'Flora' series vintage art glass bowl by Nuutajarvi Notsjo, Wartsila, Finland, (later made by iittala I believe).

The Flora Series was designed by Oiva Toikka in 1966, with a range of cylindrical tableware with a relief pattern of different abstract stemmed flowers and leaves. It was press moulded (and hand finished) so the botanical designs are slightly 3D on the outers and the base - there are different abstract 'plants' growing upwards all the way round. A beautiful design that's really had to photograph! Nuutajärvi produced Flora items from 1966 to 1978... So circa late 1960 to 1970s vintage.

This bowl (model number 133-120-01) is 15cm wide and 8.5cm tall, with straight sides and soft rounded rim. Perfect for salads and fruit and crisps, or just for display. It maintains its original sticker and comes inits original vintage cardboard box. Very good condition with no visible flaws, only lightly used. Box has some age.
