Muurla art glass candle holder. Ice mountain JÄÄVUORI Simo Tavasti. Muurlanlasi, handmade Finland. Clear Scandinavian vintage. Boxed 1980s

A beautiful vintage Scandinavian candle holder, handmade by Muurla Crystal, Finland. The design is "Pieni JÄÄVUORI" which translates to 'small ice mountain'. Circa 1980s vintage.

It was designed by Simo Tavasti and comes in its retro original box. It also maintains its original sticker to the base, suggesting it was hardly used. It's a clear bright solid iceberg of moulded lightly-rippling crystal content glass, like an iceberg. It's designed to hold a standard tapered dinner candle - the inner hole is 2.1cm wide. Typical Scandinavian icy quality glass, handmade in Finland.

Excellent condition. Original box is good for the age. The 'ice mountain' is 6cm x 9.2cm x 7cm. Perfect for Christmas and winter!

Price includes P&P to the UK.
