Murano sommerso glass GEODE. Small bowl/ashtray/dish, turquoise aqua & Royal blue. Italian cased art glass mid-century rounded Vintage/retro

A small and beautifully formed Murano (Italy) geode from the 1960s or so.
Thick solid glass with a small inner well in a rounded off triangular shape.
Glass is around 1.7cm thick. Flat polished geode rim, like it's been cut in half.
Bright aqua turquoise outer colouring with a deep Royal Blue floating inner well. Sommerso floating/cased colour.
Very striking colourway. Flat polished base as you'd expect for quality Murano.

Lovely example, very collectable and displayable.
A petite chunk of stunning vintage art glass (NB - this is a small geode, possibly the smallest you have ever seem - perfect for the collector!).
It has a couple of very very tiny surface marks - being a small geode, any teeny tiny imperfections are more noticeable than on a larger piece. Only mentioned for accuracy - you can't see them unless you look very very closely in the light.

7.5cm x 3.5cm max. Weighs a small 260g.
