Murano Mandruzzato multi faceted vintage vase. Blue & amber sommerso cased peach art glass. Cut face square block. 60s/70s Mid century retro

A lovely example of a Murano sommerso multi faceted glass vase, attributed to and probably by Mandruzzato, Murano, Italy. It's a decent 20.5cm tall and about 8.5cm widest. It's in a more unusual colouring with a double sommerso layer. Handmade and skilfully mouth blown art glass.

It's a deep blue colour inside with a floating submerged amber colour (sommerso), then a sommerso layer of pale blue, all cased in pale peach (salmon pink). Square (flat and polished) top and bottom with 12 cut off sides, triangular and diamond like. 12 sides (4 x 3 if you study the photos). Vintage 1960s/1970s Mid-century iconic design - unsure of exact vintage of this example, probably 1970s due to the retro colouring.

It weighs 1.15kg, a super chunk of vintage art glass. Very good condition with not many signs of age and no chips. Flat polished base with signs of its age. I'd give it a 9/10, great for display and for a collector.
