Murano Galliano Ferro uranium green & red bud/stem glass vase. Vintage 1960s/1970s mid-century Italian. UV reactive glow. Teardrop stem vase

A striking single stem bud vase by Murano. Most likely by Galliano Ferro, as typical of his style. Circa 1960s era.

It's a vivid uranium-content green with deep red inner. The vase is quite flat and teardrop shaped, it's tall and slim and suitable for a single slim stem, if used. It has a high uranium content, so has a vivid glow under UV light towards the bottom/base, the upper half isn't quite so reactive.

Very good condition with no chips, cracks, nibbles etc. Base is flat and polished and excellent, with hardly any signs of age. One of the tiniest fleabites on the rim line. I'd give it a 9/10... perfect for display and for a gift.

24.5cm tall x 7.5cm wide x 4cm deep - quite tall and slim.
