Modernist horse figurine. Mid Century Modern style resin coated black equine statue. Abstract/simplified vintage/retro pop art figure.

I've been unable to identify this Modernist style horse figurine/statue.

I believe he's black resin coated over metal, and most likely to date from the 1980s (though may be older or newer - if you know any more, please enlighten me!). The coating is thick and plasticy in finish, and glossy (hence the reflections). Some subtle paint ripples show from manufacture.

No maker's marks. Unknown origin and era.
Please study photos. He has pads on his feet to protect your shelves.
There are a few tiny surface marks and imperfections.

Amazing on display, and a real talking point!
Perfect for a minimalist home.
