A gorgeous and hard to find Royal Dux (Bohemia, Czechoslovakia) peacock figurine.

He's a minimalist/modernist glossy white porcelain bird figurine designed by Jaroslav Ježek, dated from around 1959. The sculpture maintains its original sticker, and has a pink base stamp (which dated from the 1950s), a blue base stamp, and has the model number embossed. The peacock is stretched and graceful and is looking up and to the side. He's a stunning 1950s-1960s ornamental home decor display item, perfect for a mid century, retro or modern home.

Excellent condition. Roughly 25cm long x 17.5cm tall x 7cm deep (long and narrow and ideal for a shelf!).
