A lovely retro pair of unusual melamine cups and saucers, by Mepal, Denmark. Circa 1970s, they're in typically '70s beige with coloured concentric ovals both sides of the cups. The oval design is red, navy blue and brown. They are all branded 'Mepal' underneath, the cups are numbered 160 and the saucers are numbered 140.

They're in excellent condition for their age (45-55 years old). They're designed to be sturdy and stackable. They're perfect for a picnic, caravan or for a VW Camper.

Cups are 7cm tall x 7cm wide rim. Saucers are 14cm wide.
