Luthje Wood Danish Preserve Set, vintage 60's/70's. Boxed. Retro plastic sauce/condiments pots, teak tray base. Mid century modernist, MCM

A pair of hardly touched 1960s or 1970's plastic preserve serving pots, presented on a Burma teak (dark reddy hardwood) base. One has a wooden lid, one is open and shallow with handles - all described on the box as a 'Preserve Set'.

Plastic pots (one round one square) are in excellent good clean condition and are stamped on the bases with 'Made in Denmark'. Plastic is slightly grey. The hardwood base has indented rings to hold the pots. It's in very good condition with its natural finish (I've not washed it). Logo on base reads 'Made in Denmark, Lüthje wood'. Lid is in fab original condition.

Overall, excellent condition, very displayable and very usable! Hardly touched. Round pot has a scrape on baseline out of sight, but that's about all.

Comes with original box sleeve, however it is very tatty/worn. Just nice to see the old graphics and confirms its purpose/age.

Base: 24cm x 11cm. Both pots are about 9cm wide.
