The Dala Horse: A Dalecarlian horse or Dala horse (Swedish: Dalahäst) is a traditional carved, painted wooden statue of a horse originating in the Swedish province of Dalarna (Dalecarlia). The original meaning behind the carved Swedish Dala horses may be unknown, but today the Dalecarlian horse is essentially a symbol of the country of Sweden itself.

This is a clear solid glass Dala horse figurine, subtly decorated. The smallest size available: 5.3cm tall. Some tiny natural bubbles and formation lines. Very good condition with no chips.
