Lanthe mid-century curved serving tray. 'Wood' & chrome minimalist Modernist vintage platter/bowl. 60s/70s retro Danish Scandinavian style

A beautifully aesthetic vintage serving tray.
Made in England by Lanthe, it's stamped on the base with 'Patent no pdg. Made in England. Lanthe [logo]. Reg design no 906749.'

A simple piece of shaped curved wood-effect (grain and finish feels and looks real), held by two matching chrome metal feet/holders.
The plastic 'wood' is dark reddy hardwood, like teak, and looks very very convincing (had me fooled, see photos!).
It's a really stylish piece, circa 1960s.
Suitable as a display item, or as a fruit bowl or for serving dry foods such as nuts.

Great condition for age. A few patina marks on the chrome.
26 x 18 x 5cm.
