A stunning set of six skillfully-made shot glasses designed by Vicke Lindstrand, from the Mambo range for Kosta, Sweden. (Similar to the Pippi range, but not cylindrical).

Beautiful Modernist shapes with a simple single suspended air bubble centred within the solid bases. Skillfully individually hand made glasses with a lead crystal content - can tell by the weight, sound, high quality and bright clarity. Made by Kosta (so from before Kosta Boda and Orrefors joined). Circa 1960s vintage. They have flat polished bases.

Each one is 3" (or 7.7cm) tall x 4.1cm wide at the rim. Each one holds about 30-40ml, so perfect for just over a shot.

Excellent condition, only very lightly used. Clean, bright and very usable, displayable and collectable. One glass has a slither chip inside the rim - see last photo. As with the handmade nature of these, each glass is very slightly different with their own tiny manufacturing imperfections/bubbles - one has an imperfect base from manufacture and another has a small burst bubble bump on the stem.
