A Waterlily bowl by Mats Jonasson, Kosta Boda, Sweden. Circa 1970s to 1980s vintage.

Beautiful flower design, clear bright heavy moulded crystal glass with the external textured folds and petals, and flower core detail underneath. Sits on nine feet, part of the flower structure. Rim has petal-like undulations. Smooth internally. Very similar to the Maleras Glass Anemone bowl, also by Mats Jonasson, except this is heavier and more symmetrical.

In great condition just one sharp end to a foot, out of sight. This would be handcrafted moulded art glass, lead crystal content I believe.

About 7cm tall x 15cm wide. Just the right size for party snacks, nuts, crisps, sweets - or could take a tealight candle.
