Kosta Boda Rainbow small striped glass vase/pot. Designed by Bertil Vallien, signed & sticker. Vintage 1970s/1980s. White, Swedish art glass

A fantastic collectable small Rainbow vase, designed by Bertil Vallien for Kosta Boda.
This example is in excellent condition, is signed and with original (early plastic) Kosta Boda sticker.
Circa late 1970s to early 1980s, I think it's an earlier example.

This vase is from Rainbow series, with surface-fired opaque white enamel (looks marbled), decorated in vertical freehand coloured enamel strands on each side, mostly in red, brown, olive tones.

The sticker on the base is large clear plastic with blue and reads: 'Boda, Kosta Boda AB Sweden.' The flat base is fully signed - hard to make out, but I think it's 'Boda BV 4....'. Unsure of model number - not decipherable. Has a flat polished clear rim.

Handmade and hand finished and hand painted. Each vase is unique.
Please note this is small and would only fit a dozen stems of a shorter stemmed flower.
Beautiful condition - no chips.

8.5cm tall. Oval shaped, lightly flaring outwards. Rim 7.5 x 5cm.
