Kosta Boda Network small glass bottle vase. Artist Collection by Bertil Vallien, signed & sticker. Vintage 1979/1980. White, Swedish 80s art

A fantastic, collectable and hard to find small handmade Network Series bottle vase, designed by Bertil Vallien for Kosta Boda. This example is in excellent condition, is signed and with original (silver paper) Boda sticker. Circa 1979 to early 1980s, the Network design was part of a limited edition Artist's Collection.

The Network series of objects were blown in a mould which was lined with a steel mesh. Hence the pattern in the vase. The back shows a different wrap-around pattern. Opaque and pearlescent whites and off-whites over clear glass. Every item is unique and hand made.

The silver paper sticker reads: 'Handmade, Boda, Kosta Boda AB Sweden.'
The base is fully signed but hard to make out: 'Boda, Artist Col, B Vallien'.

Beautiful condition - no chips etc. 9.7cm tall x 5.4cm wide. This is a miniature with a narrow neck and would only fit a single flower stem if used as a vase. (NB. There is a small fly inside, but I don't want to wash it so will leave it).
