A smaller and stylish Modernist 1960s red glass and pewter pendant on a retro chain necklace. Handmade by Jorgen Jensen, Denmark, and fully stamped on the reverse with 'Jorgen Jensen Denmark 260A'. (Model number 260, A is probably Red).

The symmetrical rectangular pendant has lightly curved sides and stepped textured layers and a small oval deep red glass stone, cabochon set. An easy to wear 28mm x 20mm pendant. The chunky necklace chain is steel (silver-coloured metal), it is vintage and non-adjustable with a snap ring fastening; it's 20" long so the pendant sits above the heart in an open neckline. Oval glass stone is 12mm long - it's a blood or brick or terracotta red.

Very good condition for age, very presentable, wearable and a perfect vintage gift idea. The pewter is a silver grey metal with a slight shine. Looks great on! A more easy to wear everyday Jorgen Jensen piece in lovely condition.
