A crackle/shrink glazed 'fat lava' era pottery vase by Jasba Ceramics, West Germany - Cortina decor. Chocolate brown glossy glaze underneath with satin mint or pistachio green crackled textured overlay. Light coloured clay base. Apx 1960s vintage, though the design/technique dates from 1955. Fat lava era with textured outer.

Stamped on base with 'Germany 589/15'. The curvy pot-bellied vase is 15.5cm tall x 7.5cm wide (at the belly), 7cm wide rim. Suitable as a small vase for a small bunch of flowers, or as a stand alone ornament/statement.

Very good displayable and collectable condition. It maintains part of its original Jasba Keramik label.
