Iittala Tapio Wirkkala Arnica vase. Ice bark textured art glass #2754. 1970s vintage Finnish/Finland. Mid century modern, retro Scandinavian

A stunning clear art glass vase by Tapio Wirkkala for Iittala, Finland. Dates from 1975 to 1984 (when they were produced) and is 'Arnica', model no 2754. It's the taller slimmer version of the design. Roughly ice/bark textured lower half, with a knobbly central area, and a lightly linear textured top half with flared out rim - typical of 1970s work by Tapio Wirkkala.

Excellent condition. Not signed. 18cm tall x 8cm wide at rim - a good useful size to hold a decent bunch of flowers. Very usable and displayable!
