A lovely vintage (1970s or 1980s) Finnish art glass candle holder by Iittala. Designed by Timo Sarpaneva. Heavy quality moulded/pressed icy textured crystal-content glass with polished smooth upper surface rim. Taller and harder to find five ring design.

21.5 x 8.5cm wide at the base. The hole is 2cm wide, so more suited to a narrower tapered candle, or just for display. 839 grams. It doesn't appear to be signed.

Used condition. Unfortunately there's one sharp 5mm impact mark on the outer curve of the upper rim (photo 7). And one 1cm shallow shell chip underneath, just showing on the outer edge (last 3 photos). Both areas are hard to see when on display due to the icy textured design. Otherwise all very good. Visible irregular seams from time of manufacture and a couple of tiny air bubbles too.

Good for a collector missing this size from their collection. Priced accordingly.
