Hornsea Studiocraft Lattice large jardiniere 385. John Clappison vintage ceramic pottery. 1960s mid-century modern blue/grey inlay anvil pot

A fab vintage early 1960s Hornsea Studiocraft large jardiniere, I believe it was designed by John Clappison. The production dates from 1960 to 1962 and is 'Lattice'. It uses Hornsea's colour inlay technique where colour was applied to the indented areas them wiped off to leave the coloured pattern. This is model number 385 with its complicated geometric criss-cross pattern. White glazed moulded ceramic/pottery with a dark blue/grey colour inlay (virtually black).

Stamped to base with the Hornsea Studiocraft logo and model number. A good sized 29cm long x 9.5cm wide x 17.5cm tallest at the ends.

Very good condition with no visible crazing. Great for display and use - print is very good and it's clean. This would have had a flower frog in it so there's a bit of rust internally. There's the smallest 1mm nibble on and end scoop, no other damage. Please check photos - it's shown from all angles. It's rare to find one of these without any visible crazing, chips and discolouration!
