A set of six egg cups by Hornsea, England, from the Saffron range. Designed by John Clappison for Hornsea in the early 70s - these are dated 1976 and 1977. Pottery/earthenware with distinctive tan and pale orangey terracotta design, glossy cream internally. Can also be used as mustard pots, condiments pots, baby cacti flower pots, etc.

In excellent clean condition. I can see one invisible baseline chip on a 1976 base, see photos, this may well be a from time of manufacture. Otherwise virtually untouched. Three are 1976 with one style of logo, the other three are 1977 with a different logo.
